Anantaour: A video has surfaced of a woman accusing head constable of Obulavaripalli in Annamayya district of molesting her when she approached him to trace her missing daughter.

The victim released a selfie video saying she had lodged a complaint with Obulavaripalli police about her daughter who has gone missing a few weeks ago. The sub-inspector of the police station entrusted the job to head constable D. Bhaskar and woman constable Revathi.

In an effort to trace the missing girl by tracking her mobile phone, the mother said she had to stay in a lodge. She alleged head constable Bhaskar demanded sexual favour from her. “Even though I resisted, the head constable forced himself over me,” she charged.

The woman said the head constable is continuing to harass her sexually even though her daughter had been traced in Hyderabad after she spent at least Rs 20,000 in tracing her.

After the video went viral on social media, Obulavaripalli sub-inspector Srikanth Reddy said when they handed over the missing girl to the mother two months ago, she had made no complaint against the head constable.
