Telangana: Murdered woman's body found

Police said the woman could have been murdered and dumped at the spot.

Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified woman was found in Shamshabad on Sunday. Police said the woman could have been murdered and dumped at the spot.

On Monday morning passersby found the decomposed body of a woman near the tank in Pedda Thupra village. It looked like she had been murdered at some other place and her body dumped at the spot.

Police found a copper bangle on the body with the inscription ‘Om Sai Ram.’ The woman was wearing a T-shirt with a fashionable print on it. A big shawl was wrapped around her body, police said. Police suspects that she could be aged around 30.

A case of murder and destroying evidence was registered in Shamshabad police station. The body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. Police has set up teams to check for clues.
