Hyderabad: Woman constable murdered

Hyderabad: A missing woman constable from the Cyberabad police commissionerate limits was found murdered on the outskirts of Kondapur village. Her body had been set ablaze and only skeletal remains were recovered by the police on Wednesday.
The RC Puram police, who have taken custody of another police constable from Sangareddy district for the alleged murder, explained that the latter was begrudged as the former had established a relationship with another person. The woman constable Mandakini (25) (WPC 7508), a resident of Sadasivapet, was posted at the RC Puram police station. At 8 pm on Monday, after completing her duties for the day, she left the police station with Prakash (45) (PC 1316), a constable posted at the Hathnura police station in Sangareddy district.
During the investigation, Prakash confessed to murdering Mandakini.
