Police arrest three for forging and selling fake educational certificates

Hyderabad: The LB Nagar special operations team (SOT) and Saroornagar police arrested three persons for forging and selling  fake educational certificates, and seized 39 fake certificates of different universities from them. Based on the confession of the accused, police said they had provided fake educational certificates to 80 students by collecting huge amounts.

The Rachakonda police said in a release that based on a tip-off the police intercepted a MUV (TS13 ER 3222) at Doctors Colony, Saroornagar, and arrested the trio  and apprehended the accused.

Police said one of the accused, Tadishetti Renukesh, a West Godavari native, was a teacher with a masters degree in biology. He came in contact with the other accused, Rahul Dikshith, Ravipally Rambhadra Rao, the main conspirator, Annam Dinesh and Gollapally Sravan who supplied fake educational certificates.

Rambhadra Rao and Dikshith were absconding, police said.

Police seized 39 fake educational certificates of various universities, 486 hologram stickers: 486, rubber stamps, hi-tech virtual campus LLP designated partner 8 mobile phones and a car from the accused.
