Bengaluru: School management harassed children, says parents
Condemning the incident, the parents of all students held a massive protest in front of the school.
Bengaluru: Parents of the students from Krishna International School, Hegganahalli, who had moved the high court against the unilateral decision of the school management to increase the fee, alleged on Friday that the school did not allow their children to have lunch on Thursday and assaulted a girl as an act of revenge.
Following the complaints of the parents, the State Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (KCPCR) sent one of its members, Mr Mariswamy, to the school.
The complaint lodged by the parents and students with the KCPCR on Thursday stated that the school authorities did not allow the children to have lunch and also assaulted the girl student, Sanjana.
Condemning the incident, the parents of all students held a massive protest in front of the school. They locked the school gates and shouted slogans.
Mr Mariswamy held talks with both the school management and parents. At the meeting, the school management agreed to admit all the students and to distribute textbooks to all the students by Monday afternoon.
