Kochi: The Special Investigation Team probing the actor assault case has begun tracing the possible places and persons contacted by Pulsar Suni, the main accused,  after the  episode. This is in the wake of his accomplices reportedly referring to a  ‘madam’ during their conversations. The police inspected  the office of an apparel store in Kakkanad, owned by Kavya Madhavan,  for the second  day on Saturday besides visiting a restaurant near Edappally and an apartment at Thammanam.

According to sources, the cops collected the CCTV visuals to ascertain whether the main accused had reached there.  They also recorded the statement of the staff. The officials hope to get some lead on the  ‘mystery woman,’ who had reportedly contracted Suni and others to kidnap the actress.

The apparel shop at Kakkanad was also mentioned in a letter purportedly sent by Suni to actor Dileep in an attempt to blackmail the latter. Meanwhile, the SIT is slated to question advocate Pheney Balakrishnan, who claimed to have called actor Dileep to warn him of a possible blackmailing plot. Mr Balakrishnan had earlier revealed that two persons had approached him seeking help in securing bail for Suni and facilitating his surrender. However, they changed their mind later saying they have to consult  ‘madam’ first.
