DRI men seize narcotics in Kadapa

Hyderabad: The DRI raided an illegal drug factory at the Industrial Development Park in Kadapa and seized Ephedrine worth Rs 4.5 crore. The DRI officers from Hyderabad unit conducted a search and busted the illegal drug unit. DRI officials found tonnes of ephedrine and raw materials.

The officials also seized cash of Rs 2 lakh. “The oner was arrested under the NDPS Act, 1985, and was remanded to judicial custody. This is the first time a narcotic substance was seized by the DRI in the district of Kadapa,” said the DRI additional director general.
