The police have registered a case of abetment against those five persons. Sources say that the bar formerly belonged to a senior TRS leader.
A few months ago, Bunty assumed ownership of Haiking Bar and Restaurant located on Panama X Roads. How-ever, the bar did not run as per his expectations, and he incurred losses. To compensate for the losses, he borrowed huge sums of money from people known to him, but he was unable to pay them back on time. His creditors began harassing him to repay the amounts.
On Monday night, when Bunty was at the bar, five creditors who have been identified as Naveen, Sag-ar, Raju, Rambabu, and Ashok came to the bar and began to harass him. They abused and insulted him in front of his customers, which sent him into a spell of depression.
On Tuesday morning, he came to the bar while the workers were still cleaning the premises. When he did not come out of the bar for a long time, the workers went in and found him hanging from the ceiling, near the counter.
Based on a complaint filed by Bunty’s son Ravinder Singh Pal, a case has been registered against the five persons. The police are on the lookout for them.
