“Recently I came to know that Santosh held a meeting with his followers in his home. He had told that them they should have killed Vinay on May 11, but did mistake by just fracturing his hand. In the meeting he also said that he is committed to do something dangerous to my life. There are chances of I being attacked anytime time,” Vinay stated in the complaint.

On May 11, a kidnapping attempt was made on Vinay by a few men near Iskcon temple in Mahalakshmi Layout police station limits. Following a complaint filed by Vinay to the Mahalakshmi Layout police, 11 people, including Rajendra Urs, the general secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha city unit, and history sheeter Prashant were arrested by the police. All of them had named Santosh as the mastermind of the kidnapping.

Santosh was interrogated by the ACP of Malleswaram Sub Division Anand Badiger, who is heading the investigations in this case.
