Hyderabad: Army clerk kills himself
The police said that Jagadish, a native of Adilabad had come home for a one week vacation.
Hyderabad: An Indian Army clerk from Adilabad reportedly committed suicide by consuming poison at a hotel in Shamshabad. The police recovered the decomposed body on Thursday and sent it for autopsy at Osmania General Hospital and booked a suspicious death case.
On Thursday morning, staff of a hotel near RGI Airport in Shamshabad got a foul smell from the room taken on rent by Thokala Jagadish, 24, a clerk working in Indian Army and posted at West Bengal.
Jagadish had checked in last Friday, but did not come out of the room since then. The staff informed the Shamshabad police who broke open the door and found the body.
The police said that Jagadish, a native of Adilabad had come home for a one week vacation. His flight to Kolkata was scheduled on Saturday and took a room on rent on Friday.
The police said that Jagadish consumed poison. The reason for his death is yet to be ascertained, as his family did not suspect any reason for him to take this step. A suspicious death case has been registered.
