Hyderabad: 2 youths held for drug peddling

Malkajgiri excise police has seized 8 kg of ganja from two drug peddlers on Saturday.

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri excise police has seized 8 kg of ganja from two drug peddlers on Saturday.

The two accused were identified as B. Naveen, 20, a degree drop-out hailing from Warangal and K.Gyaneshwar, 24, a BBA graduate hailing from Nacharam.

According to the Malkajgiri excise police said during their roadwatch near Moulali railway station to Babanagar road, they detected a person who was in illegal possession of dry ganja on a two-wheeler.

Prohibition and excise inspector, Malkajgiri, M. Laxman Singh, said, “The accused confessed that  he purchased the ganja  for  Rs 8000 per kg at Moulali railway station from an unknown person for selling the same to customers for Rs 15,000 per kg.
