BJP chief says legal battle against Sri Chaitanya
Inter student dies by suicide unable to bear the harassment from lecturers
Hyderabad: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the party would take up a legal battle against the management of Sri Chaitanya College for the death of a 16-year-old intermediate student. “We will expose the bigwigs behind corporate colleges,” he said.
Sanjay spoke to the parents of the victim over the phone on Thursday. The student had died by suicide in the classroom as he was unable to take the harassment of the lecturers.
Sanjay assured the bereaved family members of BJP support. “It is unfortunate that an Intermediate student ended his life in Sri Chaitanya college at Narsingi,”, he said. The BJP will extend all possible help including legal aid to get justice in the case, he assured.
The college managements offering corporate education had destroyed the education sector and ruined the lives of students, he alleged.
The victim’s father said that Sri Chaitanya Çollege management was responsible for the suicide of his son. Stern action should be taken against Sri Chaitanya management in this regard, he asked Sanjay.
Reacting to this, BJP state president said that they would not spare the corporate colleges for harassing the students. He directed local BJP leaders to help the victim’s family members who reside in Shadnagar.
