Hyderabad: Cyberabad SHE team arrested an engineering graduate who harassed his former girlfriend by sending his intimate videos with her to her husband and in-laws. Banda Rupesh, a native of West Godavari, and the victim, who works in a software firm, were classmates and had a relationship in college.
Police said Rupesh, a native of Tadepalligudem in West Godavari, owns a car wash centre in Madhapur. After she ended her relationship with him and married someone else, he uploaded their intimate videos on a porn site and and sent copies to the victim’s husband and in-laws. He also distributed CDs to their neighbours.
When she came to know about this, she approached the Cyberabad SHE teams and lodged a complaint against him. Rupesh was detained and he confessed to the crime, said Cyberabad SHE Teams ACP S. Srinivas. He said the video had been deleted from websites.
