Hyderabad: Burglar wanted in 25 cases held, gold seized

Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh wanted in 25 burglary cases was arrested by the Cyberabad police on Friday. The police recovered 400 gm of gold worth Rs 40 lakh from T. Avathar Singh.

The Cyberabad police said that Singh, works as a fabricator and lived in Kukatpally. In order to maintain his lavish lifestyle, he burgled houses that were locked. He preferred times was between 1 am to 4 am, said police.

They added that Singh was earlier arrested by the Sangareddy police. After his release, he committed burglaries at Jagadgirigutta, Alwal, Jeedimetla, Chandanagar, Dundigal and Kukatpally among other places.
