Hyderabad: Man cheating job aspirants arrested

Police investigated it and arrested the accused involved in the case.

Hyderabad: A job fraud was busted by Hyderabad Cyber Crime who arrested the accused involved in the crime.

Police said the accused identified as Suraj Kumar Chowdary used to collect data of the  job seekers from job portals online and contact them offering fake jobs. He then collected money as processing  fee,  and other related charges.

Based on a complaint from a woman, Hyderbad cyber crime police booked a case. The complainant said she got an email from “indigoselectionscell@outlook.com” offering a job in the airport and asked her to contact them.  When she called them, an unknown caller named Divya Kapoor convinced her to transfer `63,350. She realised that she was cheated when she reached the airport to take up the “job”.

They gave an offer letter in which it was mentioned  20 Nov 2019 is joining date at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, as per their directions the contact  went to Shamshabad Airport where she was informed that the offer letter was fake. Later she realised that she was cheated by them and approached the cyber crime police.

Police investigated it and arrested the accused involved in the case.
