Techie's house looted in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Unidentified housebreakers targeted the house of an employee of an IT company in the city and looted around 6 tolas of gold jewellery, while the techie B Vamsi Krishna was away from home on a family tour. The suspects gained entry by breaking the main door lock. The incident came to light after the domestic help noticed the broken lock.

According to police, Vamshi Krishna, hailing from Ongole, is working as a software engineer in Madhapur and is staying with his family in a rented flat in Sai Nagar, behind JNTU in KPHB Police station limits. On May 26, he went with his family members on a tour of south India.

On Friday morning, their domestic help noticed from the verandah that the main door lock was broken. She immediately alerted her employer, who in turn informed his brother-in-law Ranganath, who resides in the neighborhood. he, then alerted the police about the incident. The owner informed the police that around six tolas of gold could have been stolen. Based on Ranganath’s complaint, a case for house break at night has been registered, and the investigation has begun.
