Tallapud: Man threatens to kill his brother's son for property

TALLAPUDI: A 40-year-old man created a high drama in Vegeswarapuram village at Tallapudi mandal of West Godavari District on Sunday afternoon by threatening to kill his brother's four-year-old son.
After five hours of high drama, the police managed to rescue the four year-old-boy from the clutches from the man. According to Nidadavolu circle inspector Balakrishna, Addala Mohana Krishna alias Bujji demanded a share in the property of his brother Addala Hari. He threatened his brother's wife Supriya and took her son before locking himself in a room along with the boy.
With a knife Mohan Krishna threatened to kill the boy if his brother doesn't agree to give him a share of his property. After receiving the information, the police led by the Mr Balakrishna along with three sub-inspectors Mr Ashok Kumar, J. Satish, and Mr Jayaram rushed to the spot and tried to persuade him only with a failure.
The police then convinced the boy's brother to give a share of his property to his brother. The police called the village elders, document writer and others and gave the registered property documents to Krishna. As soon as the boy was released, police arrested the accused.
Police said that the accused has a criminal history. In a dispute case, when the police were taking him to the court, he gave them a slip and fled the place. He is said to be involved in several land disputes. Tallapudi police has registered a case. and investigation is on.
