Youth feared murdered over love tangle in Krishnagiri
Police said, 23-year-old R. Sasikumar, a tailor who belongs to of Devarbetta village went missing, a few days ago.
Krishnagiri: Two Youths in love with the same girl is believed to have led to the murder of one of them, who was found dead after he went missing a few days ago in Krishnagiri district. The deceased youth’s body was recovered on Monday evening.
Police said, 23-year-old R. Sasikumar, a tailor who belongs to of Devarbetta village went missing, a few days ago. Thally police registered a man missing case and conducted probe to trace the missing youth.
Meanwhile, the local people in Binnamagalam village found the body of an unidentified youth lying in a fully grown bush and called the police.
The Thally police went to the spot and recovered the decomposed body. In doubt, they called Sasikumar’s kin who identified the body as that of the missing tailor.
Investigations revealed that the tailor had previous enmity over a love triangle issue, with another 23-year-old Sasikumar, son of Soudappa who is also native of the victim’s village.
It was believed that the tailor Sasikumar when returning home from Thally that day was intercepted by another Sasikumar and his friend Mallesh.
Then the duo attacked the victim with lethal weapons and then transported the vicitm’s body to Binnamagalam village where it was hidden in a bush.
Police doubt that both the Sasikumars were in love with the same girl, had developed enmity over this issue and also got into a fight after their love-girl was married to another man of a different village.
The body of Sasikumar was recovered and sent to Denkannikottai government hospital mortuary. A case has been registered and police are conducting a search to the trace the accused persons who are at large.
