Drunk Thief Caught in Gonegandla

Kurnool: A drunk thief was caught trying to break into a house in Gonegandla mandal headquarters on Friday night. He was apprehended by locals and handed over to the police.

Sub-inspector M. Timma Reddy said the thief entered the house and searched for valuables while in an intoxicated state. The family members locked the room he entered and informed the police. The thief was arrested and taken to the police station for investigation.

The sub-inspector said the accused is from C. Belagal mandal in the district and no valuables were stolen from the house.
