Woman SP leader murdered over land dispute in UP
The accused have been detained and are being interrogated for the murder, police said.

Kanpur: A woman SP leader was found dead with her throat slit even as her family alleged that two brothers in their neighbourhood killed her over a land dispute, police said on Thursday.
The daughter of Radha Devi (55), a leader of the party's women wing, found her dead Wednesday night after she returned home, Circle Officer, Babupurwa police station, Ramesh Dubey said.
Devi's family in a complaint alleged that two brothers, Akhilesh and Sandeep, who live in their neighbourhood, killed her over a land dispute, he said.
They also alleged that Devi had filed a police complaint in this regard but police did not take any action.
The accused have been detained and are being interrogated, Dubey said.
