Two held by CCB police for printing fake currency
The police seized a color printer and papers which were used to print the fake currency notes.
Bengaluru: The CCB police have busted a fake currency racket on Saturday and arrested two people who were printing fake notes at their residence and circulating them in the city.
A total of 440 currency notes of Rs 2,000, 500 and 200 denominations, with total face value of Rs 1.57 lakh were seized.
The accused have been identified as Chethan Tukaram, 34, a resident of Cholara Palya and Uday Kiran, 38, a resident of Vijaynagar.
According to the police, based on credible information they raided Uday’s house in Vijaynagar 5th Cross and arrested the duo.
