Hyderabad: gang of four held for five burglary cases
The accused conducted a recce of locked houses and targetted them.
Hyderabad: A gang of four who committed five burglaries were arrested by the Rajendra-nagar police on Monday. The police recovered property worth Rs 10 lakh and remanded them to judicial custody. Rajendranagar police said that Mohammed Irshad Pasha, 29, Mohammed Rehamath Ali, 36, Mohammed Sattar Alam, 22, and Habeeb Abdul Qader Jilani, 39, all natives of Medak were involved in burglaries at Rajendra-nagar, Miyapur, Narsingi and Sangareddy.
The accused conducted a recce of locked houses and targetted them. The crime team collected fingerprints of the suspects from the crime scene and apprehended the accused at Amberpet.
Based on the confession of the gang, the police recovered 18 wrist watches, Rs 30,000 in cash, five tola gold, silver articles weighing 10 tola, two laptops and clothes, and they were produced in court for judicial remand, said the police.
