Hyderabad:Three held for murder of mother, son
He had three sons and a daughter with Jagadeshwari, said Kulsumpura police inspector P. Shankar.
Hyderabad: Kulsumpura police arrested three men in connection with a murder wherein a mother and son were killed at their residence in Puranapul area earlier last week. The arrested were identified as S. Mohan Kumar, 25, A. Nagaraju, 22, and T. Deepak Singh, 24, the police said.
On November 26, Sabhapathi Varneshwari, 50, wife of Sabhapathi Sunder Raju, and his son Sabhapathi Nataraj, 23, both daily wage labourers, were stabbed to death at their residence at Puranapul on Monday.
Varneshwari married Sundar Raju while he was still married to her sister, Jagadeshwari.
He had three sons and a daughter with Jagadeshwari, said Kulsumpura police inspector P. Shankar.
“About a month ago, Mohan, the second son from Sundar’s first wife, went to Chennai to talk to the girl’s family he was about to marry.
The family, denied his proposal, citing that they did not approve of his father having two families and asked him to leave.
Agitated by the rejection, Mohan came back to the city and plotted to kill the other family,” said the official, adding that he fled the spot after the offence and was arrested late on Monday night.
Mohan, son of Jagadeshwari, wanted to marry a girl.
the girl’s family rejected his marriage proposal as they did not like his dad having 2 families.
Agitated with this, Mohan came and murdered his stepmother and stepbrother.
