Police to ‘crack’ heist at Mahadev Jewellers soon

Hyderabad: Police on Sunday said they had taken into custody two locals who had supported the gang that carried out the heist at a jewellery store in Nagole. Based on their information, sources said, a special team left for Haryana to nab the gang.

Police said that after the robbery at Mahadev Jewellers, the four gang members had abandoned their bikes with the two locals and escaped in a car using isolated routes with fewer  CCTV cameras.

Police who tracked the gang found the spot where they had switched vehicles, and nabbed the two locals who helped the accused, in LB Nagar division.

The Sources expected that they would be able to recover the stolen gold and cash and the firearms used in the robbery from the gang in Haryana.
