Student ends life for poor academics

Parents blamed the college management and alleged that academic pressure resulted in his suicide.

Hyderabad: An Intermediate student committed suicide on Friday. G. Saikrishna, 17, left a suicide note apologising to parents for not studying well. The parents blamed the college management and alleged that academic pressure resulted in his suicide.

Saikrishna 17, doing Inter I MPC at Gayatri Academy at Ayyappa Society in Madhapur stayed at the college’s two-floor hostel. On Friday morning, his friends found him dead in the hall. “He tied a plastic rope around his throat and strangled himself,” said Madhapur sub-inspector B. Srinivas.
