Hyderabad: On Monday evening, Lalasingh and his fellow villagers were alarmed to see a fire at an isolated place in Madanapalli village. When they approached the area they heard the sound of a vehicle accelerating. As they reached the spot they saw an SUV stuck in the mud.

“We saw the car and walked towards the man in the vehicle to ask what he was burning. When he saw us he asked us to help him by pushing the vehicle so that he can go. When we asked about the fire he said he did not know anything about it,” said Lalasingh.

The villagers then asked him what was he doing at the isolated place with a vehicle. “He told us that he had come to drop a person. But, we asked him why he should come to the isolated field to drop someone. Then he replied that it was an old man who could not walk. At that point we became suspicious. His body language was also suspicious. We then doused the fire and found human flesh,” said Lalasingh.

The locals soon alerted the police and they arrived at the spot and started questioning him. The villagers said that Rupesh came to the field via one way and was leaving through another route. He was not aware that the area was marshy and cars cannot pass.
