Hyderabad: Man kills wife over second marriage

Hyderabad: A housewife was killed when her head was smashed with a wooden log allegedly by her husband at Mailardevpally, following heated arguments between the couple. The woman was upset with her husband agreeing to give Rs 4 lakh compensation to his second wife.

On Tuesday night, the Mailardevpally police received an alert that a woman identified as Sirisha was lying in a pool of blood at her house in Padmas-halipuram. A police team rushed to the spot only to see the woman dead with a severe head injury. Her husband, Naresh, was absconding, police said.
