Fake bond paper racket busted in Hyderabad, two arrested
HYDERABAD: Sleuths from the Commissioner's Task Force (South Zone) along with Hussaini Alam Police busted a fake bond paper racket with the arrest of two persons from whom they seized huge quantities of fake bond papers and backdated stamp papers.
Mohammed Syed Azharuddin, 41, a resident of Bahadurpura and Mohammed Inayath Ali (alias Shakeel) from Doodh Bowli were arrested from their houses here on Wednesday.
During interrogation, Azharuddin confessed that the prime accused Firoz, who is at large, created fake bond papers, stored old stamp papers and forged property documents to meet the requirements of ‘clients’, police said.
Police seized 109 Rs 100 bond papers, 40 Rs 50 bond papers, 23 Rs 20, six Rs 10 bond papers, two 0.75 paise bond papers, two GHMC death certificates, 20 rubber stamps of VRO and MRO and two mobile phones from their possession.
“We have registered cases under section 468, 469, 471, 420 read with 34 of IPC. We are trying to get information about the buyers,” said A.V.R. Narsimha Rao, additional DCP (task force).
