Electrician killed over Rs 5,000 in Yakutpura
The police registered a case under Section 302 of IPC and are investigating.
HYDERABAD: An electrician was brutally murdered by a group of persons at Ganganagar in Yakutpura on Thursday morning, the police said.
The victim, Mohammed Akram, 24, lives at Aman-nagar with his family. On Thursday morning, five persons came to his house and asked his father to wake up Akram. Later, they took him to a nearby graveyard.
“They were joined by two more accused in the graveyard. An argument started between the deceased and the gang over Rs 5,000. Two of the accused stabbed Akram on the abdomen and fled,” said a police official.
The police rushed to the spot and took the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary where an autopsy was performed. The body was later handed over to family members.
The police registered a case under Section 302 of IPC and are investigating.
