Freak mishap in Allagadda kills two

Kurnool: Two persons were killed when a car hit a pedestrian and overturned on the highway at Nallagatla in Allgadda.

K. Nagalakshmi, 20, and her relative Vishwanath Reddy of Muthaluru in Rudravaram mandal, were driving to Nandyal in a car. Vishwanath Reddy, said to be driving, was physically challenged. The car fatally hit one M. Obulapathi of Nallagatla who was crossing the road.

The car overturned, killing Nagalakshmi. Vishwanath Reddy suffered grievous injuries and was shifted to hospital, Allagadda SI G. Ramaiah said. Reports said the couple was trying to flee from their families but this could not be confirmed.
