UP: Youth held for dumping animal carcass in religious place

Muzaffarnagar: A youth has been arrested for allegedly dumping an animal carcass in a place of worship at Tisang village in the district, police said on Friday.

The accused, Sonu, was apprehended yesterday in connection with the case lodged over the incident that took place 10 days ago, Jansath police station SHO P P Singh said.

Tension prevailed in the village after the carcass was thrown in a place of worship, he said.
