Cops to summon Talasani Sai's driver

Police registered cases of rash and negligence driving and hurting a person in road mishap

HYDERABAD: A day after Saifabad police registered cases against the driver of animal husbandry minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav's son Sai Yadav for negligent driving, the police are likely to send notices to the driver asking him to appear before the police in connection with the case.

Police officials said that they have collected information from the victim Santosh, a resident of Gandhinagar. When Santosh was crossing the road, the car in which Sai Yadav and his friends were travelling hit Santosh on the railway tracks. The mishap took place when Sai Yadav was returning home after participating in Sadar celebrations a few days back.

Based on the complaint, police registered cases of rash and negligence driving and hurting a person in road mishap. Further, police said that they would record the statement of the victim. He is undergoing treatment at a private hospital after his leg was fractured in the mishap.
