Hyderabad: Murderer of landlord held
Ghouse had asked Sadiq to vacate his house in which he was a tenant.
Hyderabad: Police arrested the man, who killed his house owner by head-butting, on Monday. The accused, Ahmed Bin Sadiq, was hiding near Chandrayangutta. After his arrest, he claimed that he had no intention to kill the victim. Police has booked a murder case against him.
House owner, Mohammed Gouse died after he was head butted by Sadiq. Ghouse had asked Sadiq to vacate his house in which he was a tenant.
Police said that he was drunk at the time of the incident. "He was also a whitener addict. He was drunk at the time of the offence," said inspector V.V. Chalapathi.
Police said that though a case under Section 302 (for murder) had been booked it is likely to be changed to culpable homicide since the accused had not intended to kill the victim.
On Friday, Ghouse's wife Bhanu Begum asked Sadiq and his wife to vacate the house. Sadiq started an argument with the woman and allegedly used abusive words. Ghouse, who came home, went to rescue his wife from Sadiq. The verbal spat between Ghouse and sadiq eventually lead to the scuffle. Sadiq beat Ghouse with his hand several times, and, in between, he head butt on Ghouse's nose, after which he started bleeding instantly, police said.
Ghouse died while undergoing treatment in a hospital at Barkhas.
