Two arrested in Viveka murder case

Anantapur: Pulivendula police on Tuesday arrested Komma Parameswar Reddy and his son K. Sunil Kumar Reddy for allegedly threatening the wife of D. Umashankar Reddy, an accused in the murder of former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy.

Umashankar Reddy is currently in judicial custody at Chanchalguda prison in Hyderabad.

Parameswar and Sunil Kumar are said to be followers of Vivekananda Reddy. They recently attacked the residence of Umashankar Reddy and threatened his wife Swathi of dire consequences. Swathi then lodged a complaint against the two with Pulivendula police station.

Pulivendula police arrested both Parameswar and Sunil Kumar and produced them before Jammalamadugu JFCM court in YSR district on Tuesday.
