Bhopal: Warden of a residential tribal girls school in Chhattisgarh’s south Bastar district of Dantewada has filed an FIR alleging that some of the hostel residents were molested by some CRPF jawans during a cultural programme held recently, leading police to begin a probe into the reported incident.

“We have received a complaint from the warden of the hostel. A case has been registered against unidentified men in uniform for sexual harassment.”

Along with the police probe, the district administration has constituted a five-member panel to look into the allegation.

The incident allegedly took place on July 31, when a Raksha Bandhan programme was organised by the CRPF troopers at a residential school in Palnar village under Kuakonda police station, Dantewada collector, Saurabh Kumar said.
