Woman files rape complaint against lover

HYDERABAD: The Banjara Hills police said on Sunday that they had arrested a man who had allegedly raped a woman with whom he was in a relationship.

According to the police, the woman and man were natives of Assam, employed at a mall in the city. "They were in a committed relationship for a long time and had plans to get married. However, the girl complained to her sister that he raped her at her residence and a case was booked following a statement from the victim," said the police.
