ACB arrests revenue officials for bribery

 Anantapur: Kadapa ACB sleuths arrested two revenue officials on Saturday for accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a farmer.

Deputy tahsildar Srikanth Reddy and village revenue officer Munikrishna were arrested for demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000 to clear a long-pending file related to the farmer's land ownership.

The ACB team laid a trap and raided the tahsildar office on Saturday, catching the two officials red-handed while accepting the bribe.
