Honey-trap case: Kochi Police nabs woman

Kochi: Kochi City Police on Monday arrested Bibina of Adimali who was involved in honey-trapping a manager with a private mobile company. The City Task Force formed to control the goonda activity in the city the other day had arrested notorious gangsters Shibili of Mattanchery, Dani of Thoppumpadi, Udayamperoor Sharath and Thrissur native Musthafa.   According to police the arrested is working as a receptionist in a firm run by Shibili in Kochi.

According to police Shibili threatened the victim and brought him to a flat in Kochi and took photograph along with the arrested seeking ransom.  Police found that Bipina came to Kochi two months ago to collect her salary of '15,000. Police also found that Bipina was living alone in her flat. Police zeroed in on Bipina based on her mobile tower location. .

According to police Shibili lured the victim by promising to buy 25 Sim cards. At the flat the accused intoxicated the victim and they took nude pictures of him with women. According to the complainant when he woke up the next day, he saw the accused sleeping with two unidentified women. Sensing danger, he fled the scene immediately. Shibili later contacted the victim and  claiming that he has clicked nude photos, demanded Rs 10 lakh.  When the victim refused  Shibili and his gang tortured till he promised to give Rs 5 lakh.
