Missing Boy Traced After Four Years
Anantapur: A four-year-old missing person case was solved on Wednesday by BK Samudram police in Anantapur district and the boy was handed over to his parents.
Anantapur SP K.K.N. Anburajan said that the 12-year-old boy from Boyapeta in Hindupur town in Satya Sai district was found at the Jeevani Voluntary Organisation at Rotarypuram village in BK Samudram mandal. The boy had been missing since December 7, 2019, from the organisation.
The BK Samudram police had registered a missing person case but had been unable to trace the boy. On Wednesday, BK Samudram inspector Nagarjuna Reddy received information about the missing boy in Kurnool.
The Kurnool police had found the boy and taken him into custody. They alerted the BK Samudram police, who took the boy from Kurnool and produced him before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). The CWC handed over the boy to his parents.
