Parents attack Kadapa hostel warden\'s husband in Kajipet

 Anantapur: Parents of students residing at SC Girls’ Hostel in Kajipet of Kadapa district beat up the husband of the hostel warden for allegedly misbehaving with the hostel inmates.

It is stated the warden's husband visited the Kajipet SC welfare hostel in absence of his wife and acted lewd with the girls. The girls informed their parents when they could not tolerate his behaviour any further.

On Tuesday, a group of parents rushed to the SC Girls’ Hostel when they learnt that the warden's husband had arrived at the hostel. They attacked and beat him up severely by the time police arrived at the spot on receiving information.

Kajipet police have detained the warden's husband based on a complaint by parents of students staying in the hostel.
