Malappuram: Two more RSS workers who were involved in the murder of Muslim convert Pullani Faisal in Kodinhi were  arrested on Wednesday. The police identified them  as Appu  of Vallikkunnu and Sudheesh of Tirur. An identification parade of the prime accused will be  conducted, the police said.

So far, 11 RSS workers, including Faisal’s close relatives, have been arrested  in connection with the murder. Of them, Babu, Apu and Sudheesh were part of a four-member gang who executed the murder at Kodinhhi Farook Nagar on  November 19. The gang had camped in the area ahead of the crime and was watching Faisal’s movements out of his rented house, a few metres from the spot where he was killed.

According to the police, Babu hacked Faisal’s head from behind and others stabbed him from both sides. “There are five more men to be arrested, including Madathil Narayanan who sent the gang with the task of killing Faisal. All have been identified and hopefully the investigation team will  catch them soon,” said Mr Pradeep Kumar, DySP of Malappuram who heads the investigation.
