Three Missing Tirumala Students Traced in TS

Tirupati: The police have located three Class 7 students from Sri Venkateswara High School in Tirumala who went missing on Wednesday evening. The officials tracked down the missing students to the Kamareddy railway station in Telangana.

According to the police, the missing students were identified as S. Chandrasekhar, 13, Vaibhav Yogesh, 13, and Shrivardhan, 13, all residents of the local RB centre in Tirumala.

The police said that the three students left their school during lunch time on Wednesday and did not return for a scheduled exam.

The teachers and parents of the students filed a complaint with the Tirumala II town police after discovering no sign of them. Sub Inspector Sainath Chaudhary took up the inquiry and found based on CCTV footage that the students had arrived in Tirupati from Tirumala with a laptop.

Further investigation indicated that the students had boarded a train at Tirupati railway station, crossed the state line, and were on their way through Kamareddy. The train authorities apprehended the students at the Kamareddy railway station after getting the alert. Following that, a Tirumala police squad was deployed to Kamareddy to returning the students to Tirumala.

According to a police officer involved in the investigation, after the students are returned to Tirumala, they will undergo counseling to comprehend the circumstances surrounding their disappearance. The students will be handed over to their parents after the counselling sessions.
