Hyderabad: Search on for abusive father

A 14-year-old boy from Bandlaguda approached Balala Hakkula Sangham saying that he faced a threat to his life from his father.

Hyderabad: Rajendranagar police registered a case against Vivekananda Naik who physically abused his wife, son and daughter. His son had approached Balala Hakkula Sangham for help, who filed a complaint with the police.

On Saturday, a 14-year-old boy from Bandlaguda approached Balala Hakkula Sangham saying that he faced a threat to his life from his father. The boy said that his father Vivekananda Naik was abusing him, his sister and mother regularly. 

The boy, a resident of NFC colony in Bandlaguda, said that almost every day his father used to come home heavily drunk and beat up his mother and his eight-year old sister severely. Balala Hakkula Sangham president Anuradha Rao lodged a complaint with Rajendranagar police. 

A case under Section 324 IPC and Section 77 was filed. “We are sending the victims for medical exam. A hunt is on Vivekananda,” SI K. Venkat Reddy said.
