Body of murdered teen found on hills in Manakondur mandal
Police claimed that Laxmi asking Akhil to marry her, and he decided to kill her
Karimnagar: The body of a 19-year-old girl, who had been missing for three days, was found in the hills on the outskirts of Chenjarla village of Manakondur mandal in Karimnagar district on Saturday. The deceased, identified as Vara Laxmi, a resident of Mannempalli village in Thimmapur mandal, was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend.
According to the police, the victim was in a relationship for five years with one Akhil, a resident of Porandla village. Police claimed that Laxmi asking Akhil to marry her, and he decided to kill her.
Meanwhile, the victim’s parents, after searching for her for two days filed a complaint at the LMD police station. On Saturday morning, locals who found the body informed police who went to the spot and identified the victim.
The body was sent to the government hospital for postmortem. After investigating, police arrested Akhil who reportedly confessed to the crime.
