Secunderabad: 3 held for ganja sale near theatre

Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone, arrested three persons for allegedly selling ganja in Secunderabad. The accused were identified as autori-ckshaw driver Shaik Mustafa, 36, of Yousuf-guda, Shyam George, 32, and Gajula Srinu, 35, of Secunderabad.

Task Force DCP P. Radhakishan Rao said the trio used to purchase ganja at Rs 4,000 a kg at Dhoolpet, pack it in 10-gram sachets and deliver it to customers. They were arrested when they were selling ganja sachets to customers near Prashanth theatre in Secundera-bad. Police seized 2.5 kg ganja in sachets, Rs 13,000 cash and the autorickshaw.
