MBA student forced to have physical relation approaches police for justice in Hyd
HYDERABAD: A 23-year-old MBA first-year student approached the Narayanguda police on Thursday alleging that two persons had trapped her and were threatening to distribute her nude pictures on social media.
Quoting from the complaint, Narayanguda inspector Ch Srinivas said the victim’s boyfriend, K. Purnesh Yadav, a BTech student in Chennai, had asked her for ₹2,000 in the first week of May. She didn’t have the money and approached Mohammed Aslam.
Two days later, Aslam said he could help the victim but she should have physical relations with his friend Sai Charan, the police said.
They met in a hotel room in Vithalwadi, Narayanguda, and told her to strip. Aslam took her nude pictures and sent them to Purnesh Yadav. Aslam and Sai Charan then reportedly threatened to post the pictures online if she did not have sex with them.
“Based on her complaint we registered a case under IPC sections for voyeurism and intent to insult, and under the IT Act for using a computer to send offensive information,” the inspector said. The case has been over to a woman police officer.
Sources said the duo had been taken into custody and police had collected technical evidence from their mobile phones.
