Thiruvananthapuram: Youth stabs kin for Rs 100

Thiruvananthapuram: A petty dispute over a Rs 100 gone missing ended up with youth stabbing his brother-in-law.
The incident took place late on Sunday night. The deceased, identified as Sunilkumar (43), was staying near Karali Shivapr-avarthy temple at Vayya-moola in Valakkadavu. His brother-in-law Anikuttan, who was taken into custody in connection with the case, is presently admitted to the general hospital with minor injuries.
The incident happened at the house Sunilkumar hadtaken on lease. Sunilku-mar had complained to the family memebrs that Rs 100 which was placed above the almarah had gone missing after Anikuttan visited his house on Saturday night.
On Sunday night, Anilk-uttan visited the house again. He consumed alcohol inside the house along with Sunilkumar.
They then started quarreling over the missing Rs 100.
Following, this Anikuttan stabbed Sunilkumar in his stomach.
