An MBA graduate working in the canteen of a city engineering college was found dead in suspicious circumstances in Dundigal.

Hyderabad: An MBA graduate working in the canteen of a city engineering college was found dead in suspicious circumstances in Dundigal. Police found the decomposed body of Guntupalli Vinod Kumar hailing from Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday in an open layout. Based on a complaint from his brother Suresh Krishna a suspicious death case was registered.

Police said Vinod Kumar, 28, hailing from Nandigama in Krishna district, had completed MBA. He started working as a canteen supervisor at VNR Vignan Jyothi Engineering College in Bachupally six months ago and was staying at a men's hostel in Kukatpally.

On Tuesday, villagers found a decomposed body in an open layout in Dundigal. Police identified the body as that of Vinod Kumar and informed his family. Police found that Vinod was absent at the canteen from Wednesday and had left his hostel the same night. Police said there were no injuries on the body. "We suspect he could have committed suicide the same night. We are checking what forced him to do this. His call data records are clear and there is nothing suspicious. We are checking other angles," Dundigal inspector Shankaraiah said. Based on a complaint from his brother Suresh Krishna a suspicious death case was registered and the body was handed over after autopsy.
