Tamil Nadu minister's former PA Satyanarayana in prostitution den

Bengaluru: A former personal assistant of a Tamil Nadu Minister and 10 others were arrested after the CCB raided a prostitution den being run under the guise of a salon and spa.
The accused, Satyanarayana, 43, a resident of Bagalur Road, was earlier working as a personal secretary to Tamil Nadu’s Animal Husbandry Minister P. Balakrishna Reddy. “When Mr Reddy was chairman of Hosur Town Municipality, Satyanarayana was his personal assistant. Currently, he was not working with the minister and is a civil contractor in Hosur,” the police said.
The police raided Beauty and Style Unisex Saloon & Spa on Banasawadi 100 Ft Road, based on a tipoff. The accused were carrying out prostitution in the name of spa, and the police arrested five pimps and six customers, including Satyanarayana.
The police also rescued four women from West Bengal and Bihar. The women were promised jobs in beauty parlours and brought to the city.
The police seized Rs 10,000 cash and 12 mobile phones from the accused. A case was registered at the Banasawadi police station. The building owner has also been booked for providing space for the accused to carry out prostitution, the police said.
