Tamil Nadu: Three youth killed in motorbike mishap

The police have also arrested the driver, Rasool Raja, 42 and son of Noor Muhammed of Kovilpatti, of the cement-laden lorry that caused the accident.

Salem: Three youth, all polytechnic students, were killed and another critically injured when a motorbike in which they were riding dashed against a roadside tree near Salem on Sunday.

Police gave the accident victims names who succumbed on the spot as Sridhar, C.Vignesh and G. Vignesh. They along with another Ranjithkumar were riding the bike and the mishap occurred when they were negotiating a curve at Kombukuttai area as the driver of the two-wheeler lost control and crashed into the tree. Ranjithkumar was rescued with severe injuries and admitted to Salem government hospital, police said.
